Building a 21st Century Workforce

Building a 21st century workforce for U.S. offshore wind requires deliberate investment and action by the public and private sectors, who must work cooperatively to achieve our goals of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Safety and dignity are the fundamental values underlying these goals. They are essential to delivering on the promise of the U.S. Department of Energy's Justice40 Initiative.
Project development must strengthen the local economy, and strong partnership with labor unions is key.
